Storm Cairan – Update 3 November

Friday morning update Schools remain closed. The advice remains to stay at home today. The clear up continues around the Island and will be completed much quicker if there is no traffic 

 LibertyBus are only operating a limited service on No5 (no No7 today) 

 Recycling is taking place today (started at 6am) 

 Some properties remain without electric (please check on neighbours especially if you know they don’t have power) 

 All roads in St John, Jersey are passable with care. Please be aware there is still a lot of debris and allow time for stopping. 

 We would ask landowners to continue to check their land and to arrange for the removal of any obstructions to the road and pavements as soon as practicable. 

 Take care when walking near buildings as there are lots of loose roof tiles and slates.
